shingles
It been a long while since I blog about myself.... Busy with housework, managing 2 families, stressful work, etc.... Alot of social medial have been taking over of blogging thingy. Do not know why I'm typing this... Too stressful in many stuffs mention above and do not know where to go again. HAhAHA... Had been overly stressful over life and now having this aging and life problems.
Lately I have been really burnout by my heath and family issue!!!!!!!!!!
Look back
I encounter shingles! In older days they call it 'snake' disease and the person may die if the 'snake' coiled completely around the infected person. Nevertheless, western doctor understand that is a vial infection not fatal. Western doctor mention having stress can cause immune system to be weaken (my immune system already weak). Shingle and chicken pox is same type of virus. While shingles itself isn’t contagious, anyone who didn’t already have the virus could catch chicken pox from my rash.
The stabbing kind of pains get it more during night! Hardly get to any rest for few nights.
How I found out?
1st 'bite' (actual is red rash) and thought is just bite and will go off after apply some medicated cream. Days later, the painful red rash marks start to appeared more around the underarm and my back also follow by flu symptoms (like feverish and runny nose for me).
Having Shingles mostly outbreak at the age of 50 year old ++ having it at my age meaning I do have a really bad immune system.During those weeks, I have avoid foods like soya (include food cooked with), chilli, chicken, eggs, seafoods, alcohol to reduce heat and pain. Eating green vegs, fishes, drinking plenty of water and daily good rest do help a lot.

During the few months, my hubby was the one who cooks, did all the housework and when I feel down, he will encourage me to move on. I thankful he is always there during this period and he even took leave for my weekly doctor review so I don't feel lonely.
"Lucky"
Time to time I still feel sensations of tingling, burning, and shooting pain coming back. It’s called postherpetic neuralgia, and it’s a complication of shingles. This could last for 3 months or longer, and you could be sensitive to touch and some have trouble wearing clothes. So for now, I’m just trying to take care of myself, even better than before. That means eating more healthy (trying v hard), exercising regularly, keeping a consistent sleep schedule, and yes, trying to avoid unnecessary stress whenever I can (need to quit job to feel better)!
Hope the above helped some of them that is looking for a post on this! You are not alone and I wish all speedy recovery! So do myself!
